MERMS participated in the thematic forum for the use of data for real owners, organized by the Centre for civil communications

Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources (MERMS), as coordinator of Commitment 1.3 – Public disclosure of concluded concession agreements and public-private partnership agreements, and participant in Commitment 1.2 – Public disclosure of the beneficial owners of companies that have contracts with the state, within the framework of the National Action Plan for  the Open Government Partnership 2024–2026, participated in the thematic forum „Using beneficial ownership data to reduce corruption“.

A representative of the Ministry and member of the working group, established to implement these commitments, actively participated in the discussions, highlighting the importance of transparent and timely publication of data as a key mechanism for increasing accountability and preventing corruption.

A working group within the Ministry was established, composed of employees from relevant sectors, tasked with defining and implementing a model for public disclosure of concluded concession agreements for the exploitation of mineral resources, agreements for detailed geological research, as well as agreements for establishing public-private partnerships.

Through this activity, the Ministry reaffirms its commitment to advancing transparency, open governance, and public trust in institutional processes.
