Sanja Božinovska is the first Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources in the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, from June 2024.
She graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at the Anglo-American University in Prague, and completed a master`s degree in international business at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
During her formal education, imparted by a group of strong names from the world of economics, Božinovska gained a strong foundation in the principles of planning and practicing management and business. Thanks to her strong academic foundation, Božinovska is equipped with a deep understanding of global business dynamics, which is essential for her work in the energy sector.
With more than two decades of experience in the energy industry, Sanja Božinovska is a pragmatic leader with proven experience in the field of energy resource management, sustainable energy reforms, and cross-border cooperation in Europe and beyond.
