The minister of energy, mining and mineral resources, Sanja Bozhinovska held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of the diplomatic corps in the country. International cooperation and partnerships with friendly countries are key to ensuring a secure and sustainable energy future for our country, Bozhinovska emphasized.
Deepening energy cooperation was the focus of the meeting between minister of energy, mining and mineral resources, Sanja Bozhinovska with the ambassador of Lithuania, Vilma DambrauskienÄ—. The accent was placed on exchanging experiences in the energy transition and the progress of our country in that regard, as well as the implementation of energy sector projects aimed at ecological, economic and social sustainability.
Minister Bozhinovska, at the meeting, emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to creating conditions for the country to move toward an energy-sustainable environment.
As part of the meetings, minister Bozhinovska also met with the ambassador of Austria to the Republic of North Macedonia, H.Е. Martin Pammer, at which views were exchanged on energy policies, the energy transition and the possibilities for Austrian investments and expert support in the development of sustainable energy projects.
At the meeting with the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in the country, Jiang Xiaoyan, discussions focused on the exchange of the experiences between the two countries, with the Chinese side expressing readiness to apply their practices in tackling air pollution and implementing renewable energy sources.
At the meeting with ambassador of Ukraine in the country, Larisa Dir, minister Bozhinovska presented the concrete steps that are undertaken to meet European energy standards and integrate into the EU common market. On this occasion, minister Bozhinovska emphasized the preparedness of our country to assist in the efforts to restore Ukraine’s energy sector.
The bilateral meetings carried out by the Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources confirm the Ministry’s commitment to realizing the vision for clean, just and sustainable energy future.
