Last days to apply for electricity bill reductions for vulnerable consumers – the deadline expires on April 19

The Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources reminds that the Public Call for financial support for electricity for vulnerable consumers is open for just a few more days – a measure that provides 1,000 MKD monthly, directly aimed at reducing electricity bills.

The support is provided for a period of 12 months, starting from the date of application submission, and the deadline for applying is April 19. Citizens who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply on time and not miss the opportunity to reduce their electricity costs throughout the year.

Eligibility for support includes:

  • Households with one or more children with disabilities, recipients of special allowances, with a total net income in 2024 below the established limits (from 42,000 to 80,000 MKD, depending on the number of members).

  • Caregivers of individuals, recipients of caregiving benefits, whose income does not exceed the specified threshold (according to the number of household members, from 42,000 to 160,000 MKD).

Applications are submitted with a completed form (Form 1 or 2), available in the Ministry's archive and on the website: www.ea.gov.mk, along with the following documentation:

  • Notarized statement confirming the accuracy of the provided documents;

  • Copy of the Decision for special allowance or caregiving allowance;

  • Copy of the latest electricity bill;

  • Copy of the applicant's ID card;

  • Proof of household members.

For additional questions and information, citizens can contact:

The Ministry urges all eligible individuals – take advantage of the opportunity before the deadline expires.

Respectfully,
Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources
