The Minister of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources, Sanja Bozhinovska, is pleased to announce a significant initiative aimed at connecting with prominent Macedonian professionals in the fields of energy and mining who are currently making substantial progress abroad.
In this regard, Minister Bozhinovska met with Angela Popova, an outstanding young engineer. Angela is an electrical engineer with a Master’s degree in Electrical Energy (M.Sc) from the Technical University of Munich, where she is also pursuing her doctoral studies. Her research focuses on the transmission of electrical energy through high-voltage systems in the Department of Power Transmission and Distribution at the same university. She actively participates in international projects and represents a strong voice of the new generation of Macedonian engineers who apply their expertise in Europe.
During the meeting, Bozhinovska and Popova exchanged ideas about potential collaboration, the importance of connecting with our experts abroad, and ways in which they can contribute to knowledge transfer, consultative support, and opening new opportunities for institutional and business cooperation.
This meeting marks the first step in the Ministry's initiative to establish an official network of Macedonian experts in energy and mining, which will serve as a foundation for systematic cooperation, information exchange, and access to the latest trends and technologies in the sector.
"Connecting with our talented compatriots abroad is crucial for strengthening our energy sector and fostering innovation. Through cooperation with our esteemed engineers and professionals, we can leverage their knowledge and insights to improve our strategies and development goals in Macedonia," said Minister Bozhinovska.
The Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources is firmly committed to building this network and opening channels for communication and cooperation with our professionals abroad. This platform will contribute to the faster development of the sector, based on knowledge, innovation, and global experiences.
We invite all Macedonian professionals abroad who are active in the fields of energy and mining to contact the Ministry and become part of this network.
Additionally, if you know any distinguished experts – colleagues, friends, professors, or researchers – we encourage you to send us their information (name, institution, field of activity), and we will ensure to establish contact.
