Partnership for greater visibility of energy reforms in Macedonia-Memorandum for international energy promotion signed

The minister of energy, mining and mineral resources, Sanja Bozhinovska, signed a Memorandum of understanding with CFS Media & Advisory DOO, which incorporates the web portal Balkan Green Energy News and the regional conference Belgrade Energy Forum.

The signing of the Memorandum establishes a framework for supporting the advancement of the energy transition, investments and the green economy, as well as strengthening regional cooperation and supporting the process of European integration of Republic of North Macedonia.

The Memorandum envisages coordinated activities for promoting strategic priorities in the energy sector, exchanging information and experiences, supporting reform processes and enhancing cooperation with the partners from the region and the European union.

Minister Bozhinovska emphasized that establishing such partnerships represents an important step toward strengthening institutional cooperation and improving the country’s position within regional and European energy initiatives.

„Regional cooperation and joint approach to the development of the energy sector are key to ensuring a stable, sustainable and competitive energy system. We are grateful for the continuous support and professional approach in promoting the progress and the reforms we are implementing. Transparency and international visibility of the reform processes in the energy sector are crucial “, minister Bozhinovska noted.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the Ministry will serve as an institutional partner of the regional energy conference to be held in Belgrade in May 2026, with active participation of the highest-level delegation within the program and working activities.

The representative of CFS Media & Advisory DOO expressed satisfaction with the established partnership and readiness for further support of activities aimed at improving energy cooperation in the region.

With this Memorandum we establish clear framework for cooperation in promotion of energy transition, investments and regional connection“, the owner of Balkan Green Energy News, Branislava Jovichicj pointed out.

The Memorandum expresses the shared commitment for developing partnership, based on mutual trust, common interest and long-term vision for sustainable development of the energy sector.
