Minister Sanja Bozhinovska participates in the Astana International Forum 2025 in Kazakhstan

Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozinovska is participating in the Astana International Forum (AIF 2025).

As part of her visit, Minister Bozinovska will participate at the main sessions of the Forum, dedicated to energy, climate change and sustainable development. Her presence at AIF 2025 is part of a broader initiative to strengthen Macedonia’s energy diplomacy and intensify bilateral cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.

As part of the Forum, Minister Bozinovska will address at the plenary session entitled "THE RESOURCE RACE: WHO CONTROLS THE GREEN FUTURE". The session focuses on the global race for critical minerals and rare earth elements that are key to the energy transition and green technologies.

This year's Astana International Forum is being held under the motto "Connecting Minds, shaping the Future" and brings together over 600 high-ranking guests, including heads of state, ministers, leaders of international organizations, experts and representatives of the business community. The Forum was opened by the President of Kazakhstan, Tokayev, while the president of Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, as well as the president of Rwanda, Paul Kagame and the former UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, participated and addressed.

Through her participation in the Forum, minister Bozinovska will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas with policymakers from around the world and to present the priorities of Macedonia's energy transition and initiate new partnerships aimed at increasing investments in clean energy sources and strengthening regional energy security.
