Bozhinovska supports Engineering students: North Macedonia has talent for the European engineering stage

The minister of energy, mining and mineral resources held a working meeting with the engineering students from the „Macedonian Formula“ project. The MES Racing team – the first and only Macedonian Formula Student team successfully represents the country on the international engineering and technological stage.

The students presented their project at the meeting, as well as the vision and the activities to date, through which the young engineers gain practical knowledge and work according to the principles of a real engineering company, developing innovative solutions and modern technologies. Around forty students from different faculties are engaged in the project, each contributing within their field to the development of this project.

The minister emphasized the importance of continuous institutional support to young engineers, highlighting that investment in their knowledge, creativity and innovation is a direct investment in the country’s future. She stressed that such student initiatives are of exceptional importance for the development of technical sciences, strengthening the domestic engineering staff and retaining young talents in the country.

„Our priority is to create an environment whereas young engineers are encouraged, supported and motivated to develop their ideas and innovations. Projects such as ‘Macedonian Formula’ demonstrate that Macedonia has the knowledge, vision and potential to be part of the European and world engineering community“, the minister emphasized.

The representatives from the MES Racing team pointed out that the support and cooperation with the institutions represent a significant incentive for further development of student engineering, as well as for advancing practical education and technological capacities in the country.

The Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources remains committed to supporting youth, science, innovation and engineering solutions, as a key segment in building a sustainable and competitive economy.
