Current energy projects and their financial implications for companies and the economy was the topic of the working meeting of the minister of energy, Sanja Bozinovska with the governor of the National Bank, Trajko Slaveski.

The focus of the meeting was on the impacts of the new regulations for decarbonization and the green energy transition of the European Union, which bring significant challenges, but also opportunities for the development of renewable energy sources in our country, as well as their significance for domestic companies and the overall economy. It was emphasized that companies need support in adapting to these changes in order to reduce financial burdens and preserve competitiveness in the domestic market.

Governor Slaveski and minister Bozinovska agreed that the financial sector is the main supporter of the transition to greater energy sustainability, accordingly, the cooperation between the Ministry of energy and the National Bank is important for creating measures that will support the economy as a whole, especially in conditions of global economic challenges.

At the meeting it was emphasized that the development of the energy and mining sector is of crucial importance for strengthening the country's financial independence and ensuring energy stability that will protect the interests of citizens and companies and ensure the country's resilience to external economic shocks.

In the coming period, specific initiatives and policies will be worked on to facilitate access to financial resources for investments in green energy and technological modernization, in order to support economic growth and sustainability, but also to provide effective solutions that will support companies in the adjustment process, as well as the stability of the national economy.
