Decisions for financial support for vulnerable categories

Ministry of energy, mining and raw materials Ministry of energy, mining and raw materials

The Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources continues to implement measures for direct financial support to vulnerable categories of citizens in order to reduce the costs for consumed electricity. These measures are aimed towards improving the living standard of households with children with disabilities, as well as foster families.

We would like to publicly announce that the Ministry has adopted Decisions on financial support for households with one or more children with disabilities, beneficiaries of special allowance and Decisions on obtaining financial support for foster households taking care for one to five people in their family. According to the protocol signed with EVN Home, on a monthly basis, no later than the 5th of the month, the contact persons from MERMS submit to the contact persons from EVN lists of users whose invoices for consumed electricity for the current month should be reduced in accordance with the Program.

The lists are submitted to the contact persons in electronic form to the following e-mail address: kontakt_ranlivi@evn.mk.

Each of the lists should be in Excel format (.xls / .xlsx) and contain:

- Number of the Decision adopted by the Ministry,

- Number of the user from the EVN Home database

- Number of the place of consumption and

- Amount of direct financial support.

After submitting the lists and no later than within 3 working days, the Ministry makes a payment of the total amount of direct financial support for the specific month to EVN Home. Information about the payment order will be sent to e-mail:kontakt_ranlivi@evn.mk.

EVN Home approves the defined amount of direct financial support to the users on the list on a monthly basis, no later than 3 days from the date of realization, and records it as a subscription to the user number.

The subscription will be visible in the records of EVN Home and will be used to reduce the amount to be paid on the next invoice for consumed electricity. The reduction will be shown as “Subscription Amount” in the invoice.

If the subscription amount is bigger than the total amount for payment of the invoice, the remaining subscription amount based on direct financial support will be used to reduce the amount for payment of subsequent invoices, until complete utilization.

After registration of the subscriptions of the user numbers, EVN Home submits to the email addresses of the contact persons from MERMS a total Report of recorded subscriptions for all categories of users from this Public Announcement.

With this initiative, the institutions confirm their commitment towards creating a socially responsible society and providing support where it is most needed. The Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources will continue to actively work on the realization of programs that facilitate access to energy for vulnerable categories, in partnership with all relevant stakeholders.

Sincerely,

Ministry of еnergy, mining and mineral resources
