Minister of energy, mining and mineral resources, Sanja Bozhinovska held a working meeting with the British ambassador, H.E. Matthew Lawson.
The meeting was also attended by Nikola Stojanoski, director for international trade and investment at the Embassy of the United Kingdom, as well as representatives from the international company „Anglo American“, one of the world’s leading corporations in the field of mining and metallurgy.
The meeting was held in the spirit of continuous and constructive cooperation between North Macedonia and the United Kingdom in the areas of energy and mining. The Ministry’s current activities and opportunities for exchanging experiences and good practices in managing natural resources and energy transition were also discussed.
Minister Bozhinovska emphasized the excellent cooperation with the British Embassy, which, as she noted, is a significant partner in the development of energy policies processes, regulatory improvement and the promotion of sustainable practices in the sector.
Ambassador Lawson and the representatives of „Anglo American“ welcomed the ongoing collaboration with the Ministry, expressing interest in further institutional dialogue and joint initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
