Announcement
"Applications open for monthly financial support of 1,000 denars for electricity – Deadline: April 19"
The Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources reminds citizens that the Public Call for financial support for electricity consumption in 2025 is ongoing. This support is intended for citizens categorized as vulnerable energy consumers.
The financial assistance, provided through a reduction of the monthly electricity bill, amounts to 1,000 denars per month and is approved for a period of 12 months, starting from the date the application is submitted. Applications are open for 30 days from the date of the call's publication (until April 19), so we invite all eligible citizens to apply on time and not miss this opportunity to reduce their electricity costs.
Eligible applicants include:
-
Households with one or more children with disabilities, recipients of a special allowance, with a total net income in 2024 under the established limits (from 42,000 to 80,000 denars, depending on the number of household members).
-
Caregivers of individuals, recipients of a care allowance, whose income does not exceed the prescribed threshold (depending on the household size: from 42,000 to 160,000 denars).
Citizens already receiving an energy supplement or financial support for the elderly are not covered by this measure.
Applications for financial support are submitted using a completed form (Form 1 or 2) along with supporting documents. The forms are available at the Ministry’s archive and on the website: www.ea.gov.mk.
Required documents:
-
A notarized declaration confirming the accuracy of the provided documentation;
-
A copy of the decision granting the right to a special allowance or care compensation;
-
A copy of the latest electricity bill;
-
A copy of the applicant’s ID card;
-
Proof of household members.
