On February 26, 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00, a workshop on "Energy Efficiency in Buildings" was held at the Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources, organized by the Sector for Energy Efficiency. The workshop was led by energy efficiency experts from the Fraunhofer Institute based in Stuttgart, Germany.
The workshop presented important aspects of accurately calculating energy efficiency in buildings, focusing on:

Methodology for energy efficiency in buildings

Study of optimal costs

Definition of reference buildings and energy efficiency in accordance with the energy characteristics of buildings

Software for energy characteristics of buildings (energy performance certificates for buildings)
The workshop was supported by the German Development Bank KfW.
Representatives from technical faculties, the non-governmental sector, energy-focused civil associations, the private sector, and KfW attended the workshop.
