Prime Minister Mickoski Visits Ministry of Energy – Support for a Stable and Sustainable Energy Sector

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski paid a working visit today to the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources. The visit reaffirmed the Government’s strong support for the reforms and projects being implemented to improve energy stability, boost investment, and enhance resource management.

 

Discussions focused on key priorities in energy, ongoing reforms in the energy sector, modernization of energy infrastructure, and plans to improve the security of energy supply. Measures for cost optimization and improving the regulatory framework were also addressed, aimed at creating a stable, predictable, and competitive energy market.

 

Minister Bozhinovska emphasized that the Ministry remains committed to implementing reforms that ensure secure, sustainable, and affordable energy supply for citizens and industry. She underlined that government support is crucial for the realization of major investments and strategic projects that will advance the country’s energy independence.

 

Prime Minister Mickoski highlighted the importance of the energy sector as one of the most critical for the country’s economic development and reaffirmed the Government’s readiness to support the implementation of strategic projects.

 

During the visit, the Prime Minister reviewed the working conditions in the Ministry, its infrastructure, and the dynamics of the team working on strategic energy policies.
