At the official invitation of the Secretary of Energy of the United States of America, Chris Wright, the minister of energy, mining and mineral resources, Sanja Bozhinovska, will participate at the Sixth Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (P-TEC), which will be held in Athens, Greece.
The event is organized by the US Government in cooperation with the Greek Ministry of Energy, and represents one of the most influential platforms for energy cooperation between Europe and North America.
The forum will be opened by the US Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, together with the Greek Minister of Energy, Stavros Papastavrou, and the program will include leading figures from the global energy sector, representatives of international institutions and energy companies.
As part of the visit, Minister Bozhinovska will also have a meeting with the US Secretary of Energy, at which opportunities for deepening energy cooperation and investments in regional energy corridors will be discussed.
At the invitation of Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle, minister Bozhinovska, at the Forum, will also attend a reception organized by the US Embassy in Athens, in honor of the US Secretaries of the Interior and Energy and their teams who are visiting Greece as part of the P-TEC program.
The P-TEC forum covers topics such as energy security, nuclear technology, infrastructure financing, natural gas as a new energy connectivity map in Europe, and the transformation of energy systems in the era of artificial intelligence.
Minister Bozhinovska's participation in this forum is a confirmation of the increased interest and positioning of Macedonia within the framework of transatlantic energy initiatives, as well as the continuous engagement of the Government in strengthening energy stability, diversification of sources and access to new technologies and investments.
