Great Interest for the Macedonian Delegation at the XII Global Baku Forum – The Presence of the Macedonian Delegation, Official and Informal Meetings of President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova and Minister Sanja Bozhinovska with Current and Former World Leaders Attracted Media and International Institutions' Attention.

The Macedonian delegation, led by President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova and Minister of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozhinovska, participated in the prestigious XII Global Baku Forum, which took place in Baku, Azerbaijan. The official and informal meetings of the President and the Minister with current and former world leaders attracted significant attention from the media and international institutions.

The President and the Minister participated in discussions at the international summit, where they sat at the same table with current and former state leaders, representatives of global institutions, and strategic partners to discuss the future of the world order.

The forum, titled ‘Rethinking World Order: Turning Challenges into Opportunities’, brought together key leaders and experts from various sectors to discuss current global challenges and opportunities.

Participation in this forum is a significant opportunity for Macedonia to position itself as an active participant in global discussions. The topics of discussion ranged from geopolitics to energy security and new technologies.

“We have much to offer and learn in the context of energy cooperation and innovation. Together, we will create responsible partnerships and highlight the role of middle powers in the new multipolar world,” stated Minister Bozhinovska.

During the summit, Minister Bozhinovska exchanged views with prominent international leaders, including former Serbian President Boris Tadić, former Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, and Amir Dosal, former director of the UN Foundation.

The significant media interest in the Macedonian delegation, led by President Siljanovska-Davkova, is confirmation of the importance of our participation in the forum. Conversations with influential international actors open new opportunities to deepen Macedonia's economic and energy ties with the world.

The XII Global Baku Forum is one of the most important international events, where global strategies and partnerships are created. The focus of this year’s forum is the multipolar world, economic and geopolitical challenges, and innovative solutions for the future.

Macedonia strengthens its position on the global stage.

Respectfully,
Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources
