The Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources informs that the procedure for processing, evaluation and verification of all submitted applications for financial support through the Program for protection of vulnerable energy consumers for 2025 has been completed. After detailed checks carried out by the commissions and cross-referencing of data with the competent institutions, the list of all individuals and households entitled to subsidies has been publicly released.
Decisions for financial support have been made for the following categories: households with one or more members with severe or profound intellectual disabilities, households with one or more members with the most severe physical disabilities, households with one or more completely blind persons and households with one or more completely deaf persons.
The commissions completed the inspection and verification procedure in cooperation with the Ministry of social policy, demography and youth, the Public Revenue office and EVN Macedonia. According to the results, beneficiaries who meet the criteria set out in the Program have been identified, with the subsidy calculated as a monthly reduction of the bill for electricity in the amount of 1.000 denars, for a duration of 12 months starting from the date of application submission.
The published list is available on the website of the Ministry of energy(www.energy.gov.mk).

The Ministry reminds that failure to pay two consecutive electricity bills will result with termination of the financial support decision, according to the rules of the Program.
Financial support is disturbed according to the principle of the lowest income and according to allocated budget funds. The 2025 Program, which provides a total of 42.300.000 denars of state support, aims to ensure accessible and secure energy for households facing energy poverty, with a particular focus on persons with disabilities and recipients of guaranteed minimum assistance. Additionally, the measures include exemption from reconnection costs, priority repair of faults and protection from disconnection during the winter period.
The Ministry remains fully committed to improving energy security and social protection of the citizens.
With regards,
Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources
