Notification regarding power plants covered by the Annual plan for construction of energy facilities for 2025

The investors of power plants included in the Annual plan for construction of energy facilities for 2025 are hereby informed that the Rulebook on the form and content of the application for issuance of authorization, the required documentation, the validity period of the authorization depending on the type and complexity of individual facilities, the form and content of the authorization, the manner of its issuance ad well as the conditions and method of submission, return, and collection of the bank guarantee or deposit for ensuring the construction of an energy facility has been published.

The Rulebook defines the form and the content of the application for issuance of the authorization for construction of energy facilities, the required documentation to be submitted with the application, the validity period of the authorization depending on the type and complexity of the facilities, the form and content of the authorization and the manner of its issuance, as well as the conditions and method of submission, return, and collection of the bank guarantee or the deposit.

In accordance with the provisions of the Rulebook, the application for issuance of authorization shall be submitted in written or electronic form on the prescribed template in A4 format, along with the required documentation, which includes:

• Building permit or decision for construction, or installation of equipment.
• Revised main project and additional electrical engineering documentation.
• Notification by the Ministry that the construction of the energy facility is part of the Annual plan for construction of energy facilities.
• Bank guarantee or deposit in favor of the Ministry.

The application for issuance of authorization shall be submitted to the archive of the Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources or electronically at the following mail: ovlastuvanje@energy.gov.mk.

The investors covered by the Annual plan for 2025 are obliged to apply for issuance of authorization, within 8 days, in accordance with Article 2 and Article 3 of the Rulebook.
