Great interest in subsidies for inverter air conditioners – application deadline until October 5th

Great interest in subsidies for the purchase of inverter air conditioners has been registered by the Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources. According to the institution's data, as of September 12 this year, a total of 3,954 applications were received within the framework of the Program for the Protection of vulnerable energy consumers.

Out of these, 2,375 applications were submitted by low-income households, and 1,579 from households in which the only income is a pension.

The Ministry informs the citizens that there is still an opportunity to apply – the deadline is until October 5th, 2025. Citizens from vulnerable categories who meet the requirements can submit applications until this date.

Applications can be submitted through the archive of the Ministry of energy, mining and mineral resources or online through the official website: www.energy.gov.mk.

The Ministry calls on all citizens who meet the requirements to take advantage of the opportunity and apply by the deadline.

Who can apply?

• Low-income households, whose total net monthly income in 2024 did not exceed:

25,000 denars for a single-member household

31,000 denars for a two-member household

37,000 denars for a three-member household

43,000 denars for a household with four or more members

Households in which the only income is a pension, and the total net monthly income in 2024 did not exceed:

15,700 denars for a single-member household

19,800 denars for a two-member household

23,700 denars for a household with three or more members

One person can submit only one application for one household.

The right to an inverter air conditioner cannot be realized by households that have used a subsidy for the purchase of an air conditioner or pellet stove in the past 5 years, as well as those that have a connection to a central heating system.

 

Funds and conditions

For the realization of this measure amount of 170 million denars has been allocated. The funds will be used for the purchase and installation of inverter air conditioners with a power of 3.5 kW and energy class A+, which will be installed directly in the homes of the beneficiaries.

With this program, the Ministry confirms its commitment to improving energy efficiency and reducing energy poverty in the country.
