Bozhinovska: Macedonia and Türkiye expand cooperation in energy and investments

The minister of energy, mining and mineral resources, Sanja Bozhinovska participated in the North Macedonia - Türkiye Business Forum in Istanbul, a significant economic event dedicated to expanding bilateral cooperation, attracting investments and opening new possibilities for partnerships between companies and institutions from both countries.  

The Forum summoned representatives of governments, institutions and business communities from Macedonia and Türkiye, aimed at advancing economic relations, increasing trade exchange and stimulating new investment initiatives. A high-level Macedonian government delegation, led by the Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski, accompanied by ministers responsible for economic, energy and infrastructure sectors, attended the Forum.

Minister Bozhinovska, within the Forum, spoke at the panel-discussion Bilateral cooperation in trade, industry, production and supply chains“, whereas she presented the possibilities offered by Macedonia in the sectors of energy, mining and mineral resources, as well as the reform processes aimed at creating a stable, predictable and competitive investment climate.

Within the framework of the Macedonian-Turkish Business Forum in Istanbul, minister of energy, mining and mineral resources, Sanja Bozhinovska, held a bilateral meeting with the minister of trade of the Republic of Türkiye, prof. d-r Omer Bolat.

During the meeting, the shared commitment to further deepen cooperation between the two friendly countries was reaffirmed, with a special focus on energy, mining, mineral resources and attracting new investments.

The meeting represents another significant step in strengthening Macedonian-Turkish relations and confirms the mutual commitment to enhancing economic cooperation, attracting investments and creating new possibilities for sustainable development and prosperity in both countries.
