The Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources informs the public that the process of distributing vouchers for purchasing inverter air conditioners has been successfully completed, aiming to increase energy efficiency in households across the country. By 3:00 PM, more than 80% of the planned 6,182 vouchers had been distributed. Thanks to the careful planning and full commitment of the Ministry’s team, the process is proceeding smoothly and efficiently, enabling citizens to quickly and easily collect their vouchers.
As part of the distribution process, by 4:00 PM, more than 1,400 vouchers had been distributed in Skopje alone, which accounts for over 75% of the total number. Although there was an increased number of citizens visiting at the start of the day, the distribution proceeded smoothly, and for most of the day, there were no long queues in front of the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center.
In accordance with the planned schedule, the distribution is also successfully taking place at the other 30 locations across Macedonia, where citizens can easily collect their vouchers for purchasing and installing inverter air conditioners.
According to initial reports from the Ministry's teams, in most cities such as Struga, Radovish, Shtip, Kichevo, and others, citizens have collected over 90% of the vouchers, which is evidence of the success of this distribution method.
In a statement to the media, the Minister of Energy, Saња Божиновска, emphasized that the Ministry opened all the designated locations across Macedonia to ensure fast and secure distribution of the vouchers, adding: "In Skopje, vouchers are distributed at the Boris Trajkovski hall, in Bitola – at the Boro Churleski sports hall, and in other cities – in cooperation with the Employment Agency. With this measure, we provide significant financial support for households, especially focusing on vulnerable consumer categories."
Additional flexibility has been provided for citizens who will not be able to collect their vouchers immediately, allowing them to do so directly at the Ministry by the end of the month.
Minister Bozhinovska highlighted the importance of the energy efficiency measure, noting that this program, with a total amount of 155 million denars, not only contributes to improving living standards but also protects the environment through reduced electricity consumption.
The Ministry remains available for any additional questions, and regular information about ongoing activities is published on our website and through open phone lines.
