Minister of energy, mining and mineral resources Sanja Bozhinovska once again met this year with the best young engineers – recipients of the prestigious “Engineering Ring” award, discussing with them their ideas, interests, projects and vision for their professional future.
The young engineers presented to the Minister the fields in which they are developing their careers, the projects in which they are involved, the topics that motivate them, as well as their expectations regarding professional development and the opportunities through which they can put their knowledge and expertise at the service of the country’s development.
Bozhinovska encouraged the young engineers not to stop here, but to continue learning, creating and innovating, and to boldly turn their ideas into solutions that will contribute to the country’s development.
“Every country needs knowledge, but even more, it needs young people who know how to turn knowledge into ideas, and ideas into concrete solutions. Your success is not only a personal success – it is also a potential for Macedonia’s progress. Therefore, never stop asking questions, exploring and creating. The doors of the Ministry are open to young people, their ideas, initiatives and projects,” Minister Bozhinovska said.
The meeting also focused on opportunities for stronger connections between young engineers and institutions, their participation in future projects, and creating conditions for their knowledge and innovation to become part of the country’s development processes.
The Minister pointed out that meetings such as this one provide an opportunity for institutions to hear directly from young people about what they think, the challenges they face and the opportunities they expect.
“We need young engineers who will remain courageous in pursuing their ideas and persistent in bringing them to fruition. The country must create space for their development, while institutions must be their partners. I want young people to know that they have a place, an opportunity and a partner for dialogue at the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources.”
As a symbolic encouragement for their achievements to date and future professional success, Bozhinovska presented the young engineers with special recognitions for engineering potential and development, with a message to continue along the path of knowledge, innovation, and professional success.
The “Engineering Ring” awards were presented for the 23rd time this year, with a total of 257 engineers having received this prestigious recognition so far.
