Bozhinovska to Young Engineers: Our Country Needs Your Knowledge – We Must Create Opportunities That Challenge You

The Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEIT) at the "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, strengthening the connection between education, science, and industry in the field of energy and new technologies.

The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, Sanja Bozhinovska, and the Dean of FEIT, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Atanasovski.

This cooperation aims to encourage innovative research, the development of new technologies, and the education of highly qualified professionals who will contribute to sustainable energy solutions and the economic development of the country.

“This memorandum confirms our shared goal – to support young engineers and strengthen the link between science, education, and industry. Together, we will work on projects that will improve energy efficiency and create new opportunities for our young engineers,” said Minister Bozhinovska.

Dean Atanasovski emphasized that this cooperation will give students and researchers access to real-world projects and prepare them for the challenges of the modern energy industry.

After the signing, the minister and dean held an academic session with FEIT students, discussing challenges and opportunities for the development of young engineers and innovations in the energy sector. The minister told students that the government is committed to creating conditions for their professional fulfillment at home.

“Our goal is clear – to offer you work that truly challenges your knowledge and creativity, so you stay here and contribute to your country. I am confident that from you, from your ideas and enthusiasm, will come innovations that will shape the energy sector in Macedonia,” said Bozhinovska.

Dean Atanasovski emphasized that the memorandum will allow students to gain unique experiences through internships and involvement in nationally significant projects. Through this partnership, the Ministry and FEIT send a strong message that investment in education and science is key to ensuring a sustainable and prosperous energy future for Macedonia.

“This is a partnership that inspires future generations of engineers and opens new opportunities for academia, industry, and society,” concluded Bozhinovska.
